Hauling / Launching
Our boat hauling service transports boats throughout New England using our air ride hydraulic trailer. Curtis Marine Service is fully licensed and insured to provide our customers with peace of mind that their boat will arrive in desired location safely. We also carry boat stands and blocks for purchase to complete you boat haul hassle free.
Maintenance
Curtis Marine services inboard, outboard, and stern-drive engines. Our services include everthing from maintenance, installations, and diagnostics. We provide service repair throughout the year as well as winterizing and spring tunes ups.
Shrink Wrap
Curtis Marine Service has wrapped hundreds of boats throughout the years. We always provide a 24 hour notice so you can prepare your boat. The customer is responsible for removing the canvas and any other equipment that needs to be removed prior to shrink wrap.
Shrink wrap is available in white, blue and clear. Blue wrap is used most frequently in the northern states because of the darker color it can heat warmer and melt the snow quicker. Clear is used on boats for sale and live aboard boats. It allows for potential buyers to view the boat and provides for the most light while on the boat. Here at Curtis Marine we stock white, which is a popular choice among our customers. White is translucent and provides comfortable light while working inside your boat.
Shrink wrap is the best means of protecting your boat from acid rain, snow, and ice. All films have UVI protection to prevent the polyethylene from breaking down from exposed UV rays. It also has EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) added to the film to keep the polyethylene soft and flexible in subfreezing temperatures.
Major Repairs
Whether your boat needs a complete new power package, new engine, or just annual maintenance, we are here to help. We install OEM parts (most makes and models). Professional Maintenance, installations, and rigging is performed following the ABYC standards. Rest assured, only high quality marine grade lubricants and shop supplies are used.
